Hi help !

I got a 1uzfe from my jap engine man and it has these banjo bolts (presumably for water) on either side of the block just above the sump line - what are they for ? and must they be connected ? looped ? can I just block them off ?

thats the the coolant drain dood.

When you want to drain coolant from the block, you attach a hose to the metal pipe on the side and loosen the bolt until the coolant comes out. (you dont need to take the bolt out).

Just make sure the bolt is done up. You can leave it as is mate.
