Wanted ARP Flywheels Bolts

I'm after some ARP flywheel bolts for my 1UZ, 4AGE ones will do too.

The last clutch dump saw all 6 stock flexplate bolts shear off and I'm currently without any drive.

never ever use the flexplate bolts on a flywheel......
4ag "flywheel" bolts work great.

Ben, do you know the part number or the length of the bolts you need. I have some that were supplied with my triple plate that I didnt use, but may be too long for yours

I'll have a look tonight and try to find the details of them.

What flywheel are you using with the triple plate? Tilton I'm assuming?

Quartermaster, its the kit from XAT racing. I think the supplied bolts were ARP 673-1008, But although i was assured they were correct, i didnt like how little thread actually engaged. I was going to change them for 1009`s but couldn`t get them quick enough, so went to a fasteners place and got some 12.9 grade bolts in the length I wanted

Righto. What's the length of them? I'll compare that to the stock flexplate bolts that appear long enough.

60mm UHL, probably too long i`m guessing, mine run through this

Yup, they'll be too long.

On another note, what flywheel setup is that and what box are you running? The Tilton's are dirt cheap in the states, adapting one for my 1uz to r154 would be ideal.

It`s a Quartermaster from XAT racing http://www.xatracing.com/xatqu1uztrpl.html it`s mated to an early 350z gearbox, and i`m using a conventional release bearing and fork setup. I`m actually amazed at just how much "feel" there is, it`s not just on or off as youd expect from a triple
