I have a brand new tiptronic controller for the A3** series toyota auto transmissions, it has never been installed, and has all the wiring/instructions etc.
I'm after $200+Postage.

It is the one built by Kdog on this site.
It is shifted vie a toggle switch, but you can change that to 2 push style buttons (not supplied) very easily.

Hi clown boy...... this shift contoller.... would it work on an A650E 5 speed ?

if fitted few of those and they only work on gboxes with 2 shift solenoids
so they wont work on 5 speed autos
apart from that they work fine
think ive still got some new ones in a box i bought years ago
200 bucks is a steal

pardon my ignorance, but what is it ? what does it do ? can i get one for a 5 speed ?

like i said these wont work on a 5 speed auto

they basically control the shift solenoids
u press the up button and u go up gears
u press the down button and u go down gears
these r good if u remove factory ecu that does auto

5 speeds have 3 shift solenoids
these can only do 3 solenoids

not a basic one
u will most prob need to buy a fully programmable auto ecu
up around 1000 to 1500 bucks
maybe u can check to see if the supra stick can do it
ive never look into it

Paddle shift

you see my left arm doesn't work.. lost it in a motorbike accident in 2002, so driving my LS like a manual is ...... uncomfortable and not particularly safe as ive gotta cross my arm all the time, so to have up/down shift buttons or paddles would be fab for me as i don't like auto's and would love to 'manualize' my gearbox.
...... I test drove an IS-F with paddle shift and for me it was a revelation !!
..... The GS400 has the same transmission as mine and it has shift buttons...
