Are these injectors ok?

I've pulled the top end of my motor off before starting up for the first time, to do starter, water pump etc and my injectors look like this




they all look the same with varying degrees of "missing" bits. Is it supposed to be enclosed all the way round?, or is this some sort of buildup on the end? I think its not right but I have never seen a 1uz injector before

Have them flow tested and new pintil caps - thats the plastic part on the end. I have lower seals in stock which we always replace - cheers

I see you are a 4x4er. We are building a winch truck for a customer at the moment. I also have a dirty old surf as a toy. Maybe you could courier the injectors up and I could sort them for you if you want - cheers
