Is this the 4UZfe - 300kw Rwd plus 150 kw electric Fwd???
Not sure if this is the 4uz - but found this in Motor Magazine (July 2004 in front section)
"Toyota and Lexus will be pushing hybrid technology and launching a new batch of models to rival Europe's hest. In line with Toyota's plans to launch its luxury Lexus brand in Japan in 2005, two new sedans, the 224kW GS350 and 300kW LS500, will soon be followed by GT sports versions of its whole lineup.
The first three models are the planned IS350GT, the GS350GT and the balls-out LS500Gt. As a modified version of the Lexus LF-S concept, the LS500GT will employ a 300kW 5.0-litre V8 that has been hybrid-ised. Incorporating a rear-biased AWD system, electric motors will drive the front wheels to generate a further 150kW, for a total of 450kW, through a torque split system. With a 300kmh top speed, it may outclass the likes of the
368kW S55 AMG and S600L in performance, handling and fuel economy. Due around Auust 2006 for roughly $150,000."
More on the V6 if interested - (224kw plus 125kw of electric drive to front, six speed equential gearbox).
