I assume that is the correct title. The model no is '35-50LS'.
Found one on TradeMe for a reasonable price and decided that if 4 was good, then 5 must be better??? Yes??? No??? Maybe???
I'm after any and all info on this trans...
Gear ratio's, convertor, stall speed, operation, interchangability of parts with the A340/341, good points, bad points, etc. Any thoughts, ideas, impressions, ruminations....
Also some parts...
Bell housing, convertor, wiring loom and a dip stick and tube.
Will be installed in a VL Commodore wagon behind an ex Celsior 1UZ. Initially stock but aiming for 300rwhp (ish?). Rear susp is R32 GTR with a 4.11:1 viscous LSD.
Sitting on the floor next to the A340 there is very little difference in size and appearance. Mounts look identical and it has the rubber donut yoke.
KDog has taken a look at the info available and feels that he can adapt his Tiptronic controller to suit. He is happy to build a unit and I'm going to play guinie pig...
