Seriously why couldn't you fit it and build a controller.

Think about it, it must run bretter gear ratio's than the 4 speed or why did they make it?

Its has completely different operation to the A34x boxes. So no, they could not be run with the older stock ECUs.

There is no reason I couldn't make a controller for one. I assume mechanical fitment is compatible? Did the 3uzfe change much is this department from the 1uzfe?

From what I know the 6 speed is a straight bolt in.

There's a second one on eBay with 30,000 miles and it's around $500.00 buy it now.

Bellhousing bolt pattern should be the same,it fit a 2UZ.
Watch out for the really low-mileage transmissions,there was a recall on the 6-speeds due to possible internal failure (supposedly the parking pawl). I replaced transmissions on several '04 LS430s.
