i need to now how hig preassure i can run witout major modifications to pistons and rods i plan to use 2 nissan rbd 26 turbos and a large intercooler 800x600x90 mm 3" tubing a megasquirt ecu

Hi OP,

Justen is currently running 17psi boost. He uses water injection as well as intercooling. Towards the end of the thread there is a dyno graph of his 388rwkw run.

What year is your engine OP? Members have found that later versions of the 1UZFE have thinner conrods that do not last long with high boost.

Take off the plug cover and have al ook at the date on the spark plug leads.

This is usually the best indicator as to the engine's age.

hello zuffen tried the plug trick and found out that it is a 1990 model thanks for the help but i still dont no if its a toy or a lex frontcut i have the engine has a front sump and hydraulik colling fan and oilfilter mounted direcktly on the engine

Since you have a E-UCF11, i think the E would stand for Europe. So it should be a Lexus then. Isn't there a badge on the intake plenum?

OP, the 1990 engine will have the thicker con rods.

hello both the airbag frontgrille and intake badge are missing so its not easy to see but its a right hand steer model importet from japan over an malaysian dealer about the con rods thats make it all easier i will post some pictures of the turbo install when i come a littel longer today i have recived 2 new coolers i aluminium 1 for engine oil size 400x390x45 milimeters 1for water 900x380x100 milimeters to be mounted in the rear of the car so cooling wont be aproblem
