1uz wiring harnesses the same??

so i picked up a 1uz from a 93 sc400. it came with a ecu but the wiring harness is cut. can i used a harness from say a 93 ls400?

u can use the ls400 loom but u will need to try find ls400 ecu

u can solder new plugs onto the old hanress but very big job
and if u make mistake will take ages to find

i would try find sc400 loom
theyre only worth 200 odd dollars

so your saying the ecu for the sc400 and ls400 are completely different?

they sure are
we might have an ls400 loom at work or even an sc400
but by time we ship it to u will get bit expensive

You better to get the LS400 harness and ecu. They are alot cheaper. Stay away from 1995 (LS400) or 1996 (SC400) and higher. These are OBDII.

you have to check cause in the usa obd11 came in much earlier than japan
and australia on the 1uzs

ive wired alot fo later 1uzs around 96 to 98 and they were still pre obd11

but from past experiences and like lextreme said dont throw money on a loom which might be sort of right
get the correct loom u need even if u have to wait abit
so then u dont have to stuff aorund changing it or modifying it

we just got a new container full of goodies from japan yesterday
got afew 1uzs

i actually found a 93 sc one from supra925, so i'm hoping it comes in soon. thanks guys
