Hmmmmm, methinks you need a "Language" warning on that video of yours, young Peewee :p

Not allowed to have fun like that in your cars, naughty naughty.
Haha, yeah, good point.

My mate had had quite a few beers before we went for that drive

Alan was just telling me now that he is trying to persuade your uncle to keep up making them - but again these things are coming in at the $500 mark.

i just want it done when i drop it off, like "see ya in a week" style.

If u are unable to get Peewee's uncle to make them i should have one made in the next few weeks, testing a prototype at the moment. It will cost well under $100 - uses a single camira ignition module so that keeps the cost down. I may go to two camira modules as there is a very easy way to do this but it will make the Delco conversion cost a bit more, the switcher will be cheaper but the ignition module's will add to the cost.

Time for an Update I think.

Well, I had the car running under almost full power for 2 weeks.
But the motor was torquing over under load, and the exhaust manifold was sitting on the steering column, thus locking the steering in the direction it was facing when I planted my foot.

So a custom set of extractors was built over the last week.

Picked it up from the exhaust shop last night, but he told me things were getting very hot under there, and warned me to be careful driving it home (my fuel line and filter now sat about an inch from the extractors, which is not good if a fuel line melted)

So I now have to relocate the lines and filter to outside the engine bay

So some custom lines are going to have to be made over the next few days.
Hoping to have it back on the road for the weekend, where I will take some vids.

On a lighter note, I finally got around to installing all my Kings Springs, Tokico Shocks, and Nolathane bushes.
But I have only driven about 5km since I put these in, so I haven't had the time to test the performance out.
But the quick trip I went on, I was happy.

Will keep y'all updated

looking good. a bit of inspiration there for me to start on mine.
the clearance you have on the drivers side there is about twice what i have to work with !!

thanks for the sump too. i'ts modded now and looking orse.

Know how you feel; mine still does that. Will get the exhaust blokes to have a look at what (if anything) can be done, without going to the extent of a full set of extractors...

try making a linkage style mount using a rod end connected to the engine and the other end bolted to your strut tower (beef up the metal on the strut tower tho, you don't want it pulling through). this should stop the engine twisting on it's mounts under load and resting against your steering linkage.

Just a little teaser while I'm on holidays for the next 2 weeks.

Proper pics will be posted when I come back

A place called Robert Cameron and Co.
I have a friend who works there, and basically told him what I wanted done, and he did it.

Ended up costing a shitload though.

They can do them now for about $650 if you supply the manifolds.
I paid a lot more than though.

But the sound alone at full throttle is worth the cost.
