1UZ-FE to SC400

The 1UZFE EGR Delete Kit is available for sale here.
Hmm, don't know if that's true.
I'm sure it will fit, youre biggest problem might be the connectors between the engine harness and the chassis harness. There might be some differences there, otherwise it's a straight swap i think.

now i'm confused. i've read in various forums that VVTi was the devil. so you're saying that VVTi is OK? my plan is to used forced induction, and i'm afraid VVTi won't like it.

it'd be easier to swap internals i think and keep the block/head combo.

VVT-I is not hell, but the lightweight pistons and rods are weak that's true.

VVT-I is good for torque and emissions. I didn't know for sure if the block was weaker, but UZZ30 made that point clear.

The only problem with VVT-I is that it's a pain in the ass to get it working properly with an aftermarket computer system. We've been testing it here in Holland with a 1JZ VVT-I and an AEM on it, and we got it working :)

Mate, I couldn't see much point of swapping engines. Just because some one said it was a better motor doesnt ultimatly mean that. Sure in a standard configuration the earlier models are less complex and they have bigger rods and better pistons, but if you were going to super/turbo charge it would be worth to buy forged rods and pistons anyway, there is also aftermarket computers that can controll VVTi on the market as well. Stick with the motor you have it'll probably save you a lot of headaches in the end

OK i guess i will just build up my 1uz-fe vvti then. so instead i will swap in a 2jz-gte while i work on rebuilding the 1uz-fe. does this sound like a workable idea? i'm aiming for 1300HP from the 1UZ, so i can race with it and wake up the neighborhood. actually, here in southern california there are massive stretches of flat land where there is no speed limit, for many hundreds of miles. i want to set a speed record.

I've seen some clips with the SC300 running 8 seconds. It probably has more than +1000 hp. And now you want a 1300 hp SC400? That will be a great record.

I'm in Southern Cali but I didn't know of any flat land you're mentioning about. Can you shed some lights on it?

are you for real? your asking the basic information found all over this web site, and you have goals of 1,300 hp? then say you want to race your 1,300 hp hypothetical car on flat land?
