    ok then..gen 2 engine (skinny rods) 6-7psi max,m112 sc, no intercooling...pinks on hard acceleration when on petrol but fine when on propane..(engine feels like ecu retarding ignition when pinking as its more powerful on propane.) petrol is 99 octane.. stock ecu and injectors,aftermarket...

    yes agree... am going to fit speedo sensor,but will have to use the land rover item..found one that gives a pulse and allows the cable fitment in and out,so can still have mechanical speedo...and yes i know it controls a few things,ie fueling on decelleration.. as for reliability..well no...

    ecu is standard 1995 that came with engine (second gen) i wired up everything,(including brake input etc...if doing a job do it properly,just like what you do..)only thing i didnt was speed sensor as car is old range rover and has mechanical type speedo.. yes i wired up crappy twin speed fuel...

    sounds about right... interestly the wide band a/f meter is giving good readings on the "iffy" fpr...still will change fuel pumpcrt to run 12v all the time anyway..it dont have a seperate ecu,the main ecu controls the fuel pump relay directly..

    just done my supercharger install..ie test drive an hour ago.. now need to know what the ecu uses to control the fuel pump voltage.i know how it switches the resistor in and out,but what inputs does it montor to know when to alter fueling?? i ask as my adjustable fuel reg dont..connected it...

    fired the supercharger up for first time..seems ok.. question..this is a back yard job..using sock ecu (only looking for 6-7 psi..have rising rate aftermarket fuel regulator fitted.. what psi (fuel) am i looking for at idle and on say 6psi?? thanks

    why throwing belt??

    ok...2 hours of checking and modding.. seems to ok now,(starter motor only) found 2 problems..alternator was a tiny bit out..and for some reason one of the pulleys was at fault..changed it for another i had (slightly smaller) and all seems ok.. thanks for input,fingers crossed...will let you...

    ok..it is in the correct place..so other than it is an 8 rib pulley and hense looks amateur it will do..(untill i feel the need to change it) pulley is a1 shape..

    please refer to post on throwing sc belt.. not infront on car at moment,and am sure sc pulley is in alignment..but just in case...:confused::eek: it ain't...(when i re re check tomorrow) how does one remove/move up/down spindle the sc front drive pulley..? the sc is a m112 (new) from a jag.it...

    on looking at it again,prehaps the alternator (where ac used to be) is a bit pissed...who much error is allowed before it gives grief...wasnot throwing belt without sc fitted..)

    almost finished sc install... but on turning the key it throws the belt...comes off the front of 2 little idlers below sc.... all looks and measures true...why? will post up pics of install once find camara charger..(dooh) but here is something very very similar..only difference of note is...
