Ryan I have the same problem with my car, I had upgraded my alternator but it seems I have low idle probably due to a dirty idle valve controller...I adjusted my idle in the meantime to compensate temporarily. How many volts are you running when the fan, lights, and a/c on all at the same time?
Considering the budget, supercharging seems like a better alternative...FI is expensive however way you do it...Things tend to break or need to be replaced or whatever...Projects usually end up 2-3 times more than original budget...lol..
