    Gas Price

Here in NZ we pay what would be $USD6.15/US Gallon ($2.07/L). That is for a local 95 octane fuel, what really gets me is the spot price goes up and the price rises at once even though there is 30 days stock in the storage tanks. Price drops only happen when the tanks are empty though.

    550 bhp engine for $36,000

TBH if I was going to spend big buck on a crate motor I would get an LS7

If you want to use a manual I know the Colin Dray in NZ has the moulds etc. for a conversion plate to put a W5x series box on the auto bellhousing. http://www.conversioncomp.co.nz

    Horse Power and Torque

Probably the closest you will get to 1:1 on a stock petrol vehicle is a 1993 F Body with its 0.62:1 top gear and 2.73:1 Final drive, but even that supplies a total ratio of 1.69:1

The 4V is the 3.4L version. 5V is the 3.9L version. I was involved with a company in NZ that was trying to market turn key kit cars in the early 90's, we were going to use a 5V and a 5 speed W57 box in our Cobra replica.

    Saleen S7 Twin Turbo

VERY low boost, 5.5PSI is not a lot in a turbo installation, even the Ford XR6T uses 6PSI and that has been knobbled so as not to beat the V8's.

2006 Mustang GT Tungsten is a monster!!!

So you mean Aston Martin V8 / DB9 / Vanquish? Lamborghini Diablo ? That has been replaced with the Murcielago

    NA Piston Options

Dyno 2000 assumes detonation free fuel and makes no allowance for ignition timing. I can play with cam timing but that does not really apply on the 1UZ.

    NA Piston Options

    1) Dyno2000 does not like the 207-D Cams, I suspect that the head flow is to low to get a good pull on them, this program is really focused at Ford/Chev V8's and has some limitations when it comes to multivlve modeling. 2) 321HP @ 6500RPM, 312lb ft @ 4500RPM 3) 308HP @ 6500RPM, 290lb ft @...

    NA Piston Options

OK If we use the ACL Pistons in +0.5mm (20 Thou) OS and use the SBC rods (Whatever material they are made from) to get 88mm x 84.5mm, Ported heads with std valves, 207-C cams from Kelfords and Damien's ITB setup with blacktop bodies we should see ~420HP @ 7500 RPM and ~360lb ft @ 5000 RPM...

    NA Piston Options

The figure was computed with Dyno 2000 using Kelford 207-C cams IIRC, I can check when I get home if you like.

    Power with 9000rpm 1UZ?

Anyone wanting big revs should use Tony Millars ITB manifolds with Blacktop 4AGE TB's and 70+ MM Trumpets.
