Just an update for a mod I did some time ago on oil take-off plates. Tried for ages to get various adaptors to seal but always had a niggling dribble of oil.
Bought one of the items of this site, no joy.
Bought one of the items from the Australian brotherhood which had been adapted to take the Lexus figure of "8" shaped seals, no joy - adaptor was too thin and distorted due to the original hole pattern
Cut the original Lexus take-off down to size, retaining all the main structural casting (reduced to about 1 1/2" in overall height, welded some Weldons for take-off to ANC - Hey presto a solid job. Moral of the storey, don't waste your money on the other applications, modify what you've got.
