Wassup everyone, just about to start on my project and wanted to know if anyone could help about some of the obstacles on installing a 2uzfe into an 86 corolla. I know about the engine mounts, harness, and radiator clearance. As well as the custom headers.

Is there anything I could do about the throttle by wire? Or will I actually need the gas pedal and the sensor? If I install the TRD super charger, could I just use the throttle cable for it since it uses and throttle cable vice the throttle by wire?

anything will help guys and hope to get some info from you all. thanks in advance.

hi, sorry for not seeing the post before..i have some experience with the corrolla and v8--but with the 1uz.. just email,, we can share some of the experiences..

2UZ is little to heavy and it might not clear the hood. Best bang for the bucks would be the 1uzfe. Its lighter and cheap too. However, if you already have the 2uzf then keep us updated with your build.

it's okay - another brain fart there dude.

i realised after i posted it all that it could have been an AE86....!
