IACV operation with MS3


Since getting the MS3 with MS3X installed and running, I've been logging whats happening when driving and I've noticed that the IAC remains open during normal day to day driving.

On Sunday I recorded a loss of sync moment and the valve position immediately went from 64 to 2 (shut). It stayed that way until I came to a stop and as the motor struggled for revs it started to open, gradually climbing back up to around 60 as I again drove along.

I know the setting on these can be tricky but can someone explain the range of movements the valve goes thru in its normal operation so I can get my head around what I am seeing.

If anyone has some fool proof IAC settings for the MS3 that would also be good to look at.
