Thanks, that seems to be a common comment, and IMO is one of the highest compliments one could expect to hear about their engine swap.

Yes, I kept it auto with the Lexus trans to get through BAR. I asked the ref about it, and he confirmed a manual transmission would make approval a non-starter. While I'd probably prefer a 5-speed, the auto is just fine for my intended use of the car, which is just a nice unique daily-driver.

Did you splice the two harnesses together or go big and start from scratch?

Whats the spec of the rest of the car? Poly's? suspension? Brakes?

Do you think you'll make it down to the meet were going to have for the XR faithful?
