can i use this ECU 8966150160 in my 1uz 1996?

Hi I have a nissan 200sx with 1uz fe. I have take the engine from a Lexus Ls400 from 96. But it´s the one with immobilizer box.. so my engine starts and dies. soo can I take this ECU from a Lexus Ls400 from 94 with ECU number 8966150160 the ECU have same input like that one i have today. 34,22,16,28. the engine i have is from England. And the ECU from 94 is from Sweden.

What is the number from your immobilised ECU? I suspect your one is from a 20 series vehicle and the ECU 89661-50160 is from a 10 series so are not compatible. Im quite sure its the later Europe spec 20 series that got the immobiliser. Cheers

I have the Lexus ls400 That i took the engine form in My garaget.

Can you please recheck those numbers you have given dont seem to match. The immobiliser number is ok but the ECU number is strange. The matching ECU I list with the immobiliser is 89661-50250 or 50260 or 50270. Cheers

But what i remember so is the 3 last number of My ECU 010. I can check it to night Im at work now!

Yes you can use the ECU from a '94, but you'll need to swap the IGT wires.

pins 24 & 25 (IGT1/IGT2) on the 34 pin plug, just snip and swap them over.

AND you may use a range of ECUs from '95ish JDM celsiors and crown majestas. They are not immobilized. Though they do require a bit of tweaking regarding IGT/IGF pins, similar to what's mentioned above

I have fix in but the engine Will not start with the ECU

Yes i have That box. The engine Will start. Sounds like That get More air and no fuel
