What Hp is Standard fuelrails good for?

Any one tried to max out the standard fuelrail?Just wondering at what point do u need to upgrade it?willit take 600-700 HP(with bigger injectors ofcourse)?

I think you will be ok with the stock fuel rail.

Your bottle neck at those levels would be more in the area of your fuel pump. Upgrading to a dual pump, dual line, single return configuration would be at your best interest. Also with larger injectors you'll want to consider converting to low impedence. High Z injectors only go up to 750cc, and even those get a little tricky when it comes to high HP, high RPM situations.

Well Im planing on 550 cc Rx7 injectors at this stage,so upgrading the fuel pump is on the card then,good to know the standard fuelrail is ok there till stage 2 ...Just going to supercharged at this stage...got myself a twinscrew unit of a merc e55 with the built in clutch...

What is your set up? what fuelpump are you using?

On the fuel side:

1uz with VVTI, Walbro high pressure pump, Aeromotive fuel regulator -6 supply line, 370 Injectors and a turbonetics t04e

For some reason the VVTi makes killer hp. GS400 makes 500 rwhp with about 14-15 psi. I am so jealous....

May want to play with the cam timing next time you have a week to kill.

I dont want to jack the thread but we did a complete rebuild on the engine and put 8.5:1 forged pistons in it.
