Hell year the w58 has been used alot, im using the w55 in mine.

torque is the killer on the W5* gearboxes. If you use it behind a 1UZ and treat it nice it'll last well, but if you add a couple of turbos or thrash it, it may not last long at all.

Hows the W58 blot to the 1UZ as the bellhousing/gearbox looks like it is one! piece. ?

yea my IS-V8 will be TT but im not one that boost's it all the time, it will see 2 or 3 1/4-mile runs in a year but thats it. all so what is the W58 5 or 6 speed ?

5 Speed, they normally can handle around 500hp fairly well. If you treat it well it should cope
