what first 5.0 / supercharger

Hey all, I 'm considering some major "go fast" for my gen1 LS (1uz) I'd like to make it a 5.0, and I would also like to supercharge it. I'm not at all a mechanic,so I won't be doing this myself and I don't know much of the tech stuff, so take it easy on me with your responses. What should I do first,5.0 or supercharger and where in SoCal can I get theese done.

5.0 will be very expensive.... supercharger would be easier....

For the 5.0 what are we talking cost wise???? I've seen a 5.0 kit made by C's in Hyper Rev, but I guess that is for the 2uz. Is there a similar kit for the 1uz?

How much was the C's kit?

If it fits the 2UZ it would go into the 1UZ but have a smaller capacity. You could use 2UZ liners in the 1UZ block but now you're talking very serious money.

How much less capcity? (no point in all the work if it only comes out to 4.3)

Is the 2uz the gen2 LS motor? If so, what is the tranny 4 or 5 speed?

Man,,, u have to do more reading in this forum.... 2UZ was Never equiped in LS..... 2UZ is in Tundra, Sequoia and 4Runner.

It would be easier if you stroke the 4.7 liter to 5.0.
