AMAZING, aren't they?

Truck stopped near Leeds yields $1 million in hidden cash
A truck stopped Wednesday by Birmingham police and state transportation officials yielded nearly $1 million, Birmingham police said today. The money, $989,000 by a preliminary count, was found in 20 bundles in a hidden compartment. The truck was stopped Wednesday afternoon westbound on Interstate 20 near Leeds.
Police said the two men with the truck were cited for violations including no drivers licenses. The pair consented to a search of the truck and then denied knowledge of the money when it was discovered, police Capt. Mike Fisher said.
The men were released but the money was confiscated.

I'd rather have one of those trucks. :)

Those guys screwed up big time!! I could have talked my way out of that!! Yes those Tundras are sweet now! It's about time. The NIssan Titan is one bad truck but this Tundra should be on par.

Na they didn't mess up. They got released they said 2night on the news. The driver had a suspended liscence, and they called INS on the both of them.
<It goes without saying that you could put alot of jokes right there... So We'll just go without saying it!>
Tundras are killer. I can't wait until they bring a big bad Diesel on whatever the next gen will be.

The Typhoon and Ford Lighting trucks are sexy and reasonably fast trucks...The tundra's are reliable, strong every day looking trucks...That is what I think....

I would still choose a Tundra...Very solid trucks...

I wonder what the fastest production made truck is today? Anyone?

Those Typhoons and Cyclones were AWESOME trucks. I think the interior was nasty but wow what a platform! I never got a ride in one though :tongue2:. Why doesn't TOyota make a little hot rod truck like that? They should make an S-Runner with a turbo at least just because I prefer turbos.

Here is probably the best S-runner I have ever seen. It's built by TRD for Toyota and its indeed supercharged and all modded out (while somewhat mildly). It even has an interior roll cage which isn't too intrusive. I took these pictures at the SEMA show in Las Vegas.

Dodge ram SRT-10 is the fastest production made truck?...Man..I thought that was V10 monster that was built for all torque and not speed...A pulling truck...I need to keep up with the trucks...

SUV's - Fastest production made SUV I would guess -

Jeep Grand Cheerokee... Last time I checked atleast it was....AWD too..I think it has the Hemi or something under the hood....400hp, 0-60 in like 4 seconds...etc..etc..

fastest production truck is the SRT-10 yes, 500 horsepower, 500 pounds of torque.

fastest SUV. This one would be harder. A G55AMG must be really fast there's a SS version of the trailblazer also but i think it's slower than the G55 AMG.

im for thinking that the fastest stock SUV you will find is a Porsche Cayenne Turbo S. Truckwise the SRT10 seems to be a consensus pick.

Please don't by offended by my saying below, folks. I've somewhat a similar thought like Jibby. A truck is supposed to be high and not low like our SC or LS. A truck can't ever beat a sporty low car for any reason so why wasting on it and make it like a car. If you want a low ride, go for a car. If you want a ride for off-roading and towing for utility, then go for a truck. Toyota has recently made a Tacoma X-Runner low rider truck. In my opinion, it's a joke. It can't go off-road or even tow like a regular truck.

I have a 4WD Tacoma and I like it for its height of a strong look and utility. But when I drive my lowered SC, I appreciate its handling alot. It's a whole different world. The pictures below show the real trucks.

It is classified as a utility vehicle(although it's rated to carry about 500kg MAX), which makes it eligable for the world record. Don't feel too down about it though it's got a yanky motor!!! :)

Yeah I'm with Stevechumo. The X-Runners are just novelties to me and I would never ever buy anything in that format. But there are many people all over that like them for their styling. There is the culture of young people that love those lowriding mini-trucks that would kill for the X-Runner like I pictured above. I just appreciate the effort that went into that particular truck and Toyota knows that it sells. Go Go Grocery Getters!!

Im into custom built off-road trucks myself... and purpose built race track only cars of all types. Now that is some serious engineering. I could always use a next generation Tundra though :wink1:
