it cuts out under load, and you can forget about quick take offs
i have to ease on the throttle to accelerate, going up hills causes it to cut out more

i cant figure this out
ive replace the following that seem relevant to the problem


maf
distributors
ignition coils
fuel filter
plugs and cables


this problem first started when i took off the intake to replace the starter
so at first i thought it was a vacuum leak, but i havent been able to find one

i havent replaced the fuel pressure regulator yet, anyone think that could be the cause?

Have you tried to see if you maybe put the intake manifold gasket on wrong or might be split in one area which causes a reaction like the one you are having.....could be?

shouldnt be the intake gaskets. ive replaced them twice since this problem started

just did it today infact, im pretty sure everything is together properly

Put a fuel pressure gauge on it and see what is happening with fuel pressure.

Well I was at autozone looking at their fuel pressure testers and I don't see how it supposed to attach to the fuel rails

So I didn't get one.....

ok, fuel pressure checks out fine, no fluctuations

i was thinking, would a bent valve cause this? or a loss of compression?

pull the engine codes and see wats up but it sounds like the computers in limp mode try borrow another comp see if that helps
