Is there a computer or piggy back that i can buy that will improve performance for my v8, its not turbo. just wana see what i can do.:feedback:

There are few piggybacks members stated increase in hp. Nothing plug or play but require lots of tuning time.

YEs a new computer.

The existing ECU runs a MAF which is difficult to replace. Member Damien has done it so look for his Threads.

The GReddy Emanage is the only piggyback I can think of that removes the MAF and runs a MAP sensor.
These however would be up around the $1000AUD mark

For a little bit more you can go fullstand alone, and drive into pretty much any dynoshop and get it tuned.

they retail here for about 1400, my mate just got one on his VR4 and it makes a hell of a difference.I might have to invest in one

I have heard some nice things about MAP ECU.

The MAP ECU is a pain in the ass to tune, the hardware is nice but the software stinks.
