Tranny breather spec?

Can anyone help me with the thread size and pitch of the auto tranny (341E) breather, and if possible the nut size to turn it out....

I want to extend the breather to prevent water getting in there, but its in such an awkward spot I can barely reach it let alone see it

If you are talking about the breather on the top centre of the gearbox, about an inch behind the bellhousing, then its just a plastic plug. You can pop the lid off, add some pipe and a zip tie and you are sweet. If you wanna go full professional, I put a breather in off a surf, which is already an extended version of the factory breather, I then plumbed that into my t-case and diff breathers and plumbed it all into my snorkel.

Sadly we didn't ever get the Surf in the country so its tubing for me. Any idea what diameter of tubing I need?

Maybe an auto 4Runner?? Auto Hilux? Auto Prado? Auto Colorado.... Any of them will have the breather you seek.
