What diameter is the probe?? I just used an olive type fitting (swagelock)on mine and screwed it into the side of the thermostat housing. Just don't over tighten it to damage the probe. Been in the 37 for over 4 years and 70,000 miles and no leaks. Can be easily removed and refitted just like any other fitting
