We just upgraded the VBulletin from 3.5 to the latest 3.6.5. I am hoping most of our problems will be solved. Please do some some pictures for testing.
This is a test... on attaching pictures....

Ok...

I guesss its free for all posting picture. This is my 3 year old son. We have been doing pull ups since he was two years old. Recently, we do exercise about 2-3 times a week. Right now, he can do about 6 good push ups and 25 sit ups (with me holding his legs). As you can see he is pretty muscular and very strong for a three year old boy. Have you seen a new show called "Are you smarter then a fifth grader"? Now here is my version "Are smarter then a three year old"? Naming Muscles and Bones

Haha dude, you training him to be a body builder or something? :D

I think it's a good thing to be honest, if I could go back many years I would make a lot more effort to be fitter than I was, I mean children these days eat even more crap than we did and I think it's just getting worse.

Not that I blame the kids really since it is too easy and often much cheaper to buy the crap when they are at school.

Take for example over here we have 'Innocent Smoothies' which taste lovely and are increadibly healthy, but like a 250ml bottle costs like £2!!!! Where as a 500ml bottle of coke is like 90p. Guess which one they are going to buy?

Well, these days kids have too much TV, DVD, Internet and Video games. We dont have those except TV for my kids. We only allow one hour a day of TV/DVD and that is it. If you guys are in your early 30s you would understand when we were little, we played baseball, soccer, riding bike and roller skate and so on. Kids these days dont want to do that anymore. When I was growing up our neighbor kids always get together and have games.

Not being active promotes sedentary lifestyle and that will lead to many hypokenetic diseases. That is why I promote active living in my family.

Thats exactly it, I mean, kids started getting lazy around my generation but I was still waaaaay more active than they are now.

When I eventually have kids I plan never to let them have a computer or games consoles in their room and what not. I say plan because you don't know what technology will be like in those years and also you talk the talk but when it actually comes to having kids I hear it can be a totally different ball game.

But learning from my past I want to try and encourage my kinds to be generally more active, I think the problem with kids staying in watching TV and whatnot is actually two fold:

1) It's not physically healthy and
2) Kids don't socialise or learn how to socialise any more.

Which I think leads to a weaker integrated society and community spirit, everyone ends up only looking out for themselves......

Soccer or XBOX360? Can you blame the kids for choosing Xbox or playstation 3... Those games and graphics are sick...

It's a shame because recent studies have shown that todays kids are becoming more unhealthy and obese... I believe kids should excersize and read more rather then watch TV and play video games...I also believe it is up to the parents to enforce these positive changes because the kids are not going to do it on their own...Would you if you were a kid again? I know I would run right to the Xbox 360 and play for endless hours if I were a kid again, but maybe that is just me...

Picture test - PS - Don't let your kids piss their lives away sitting behind the tv..

2nd PS - pictures aren't showing up for me, that was a good one too..

I'm affraid I can't see the picture mate :(

But you I know exactly what you mean, I'd choose the NES or the Atari as it were back in the day any time. Which is why I think things like the Wii are a wonderful compromise.

From my personal experience in health care for the past 18 years. Technology is killing us. Think about it. Techology is main cause of ill health in most developed countries.

Can't stop the progress of technology, but we can control what we do with our time, and our kids time. I was watching a show on the Discovery channel the other day, something about the 5 most likely causes to the end the human race... I began to watch this show out of curiousity..

They mentioned large fast moving asteroids hitting earth, sun bursts or a rogue black hole hitting earth (something like that, what ever), super volcano's, and mans continuing advancement in technology, also I think lastly the effects of ozone depletion from mans doing too...

I think number 3 or 4 on the list was technology, such as the future ability for anyone to access technical information on the internet, etc, to cause mass destruction, the advancement of technology to do harm in the hands of the wrong people, and even possibly A.I. in the next 50 years or so...However, They (discovery) didn't mention video game technology that promotes ill health from lack of excersize??? hmmmm, I guess they missed that one...:33:

With that being said I am now going to play Xbox 360 for a few hours and eat donuts...:boggled:

Tell me about it I've just sucked down two cans of Coke whilst browsing and posting on an internet forum ;)

uhh.... i hate Coke.

Jibbby-they probably didnt mention general laziness because it wont kill you in a minimum of a week or two. i dont think chronic laziness is bad enough in teenagers that they just sit there and die when watching TV(drugs not included). i personally have an XBox360, and i hardly play it. i mostly pace, which is a bit odd. while i am a teenager, i CANNOT just sit still unless im doing something with my fingers; even playing video games only holds my interest for about an hour.

Anaema, I was only kidding, I don't own an XBOX 360 nor do I sit around playing one...I have played several times on my Nephews XBox 360 and I was very impressed with the games and graphics...As a kid I would have been hooked and would have loved it way over the Pong and Atari games of the past..

However, I am guilty of spending too much time behind the laptop from time to time..

In regards to Coke and other colored beverages they will take a toll on your body over time..I live next to the UCLA cancer center, and studies are showing that coloring in soda's, preservatives and other unnatural crap will cause cancer. Needless to say soda's like Coke will also take it's toll on your kidney's over time, filtering the coloring.... They say if you must drink soda's try and drink the clear ones like Sprite, Squirt, etc. you will live longer... I try and drink water but I find it awefully boring with meals.....

Just for talks sake, did you know on Islands like Jamacia there is very little report of cancer cases, why you may ask? Because the locals eat organic and natural foods daily, fish and lots of water.. No lung cancer reports from extended use of Ganga too...:240: I was suprised to hear that one...

Health class 101 is now out of session...

Lex...I tried down loading smaller and larger sized pictures and they just don't take..I am using the function just like I have been for years...Go figure?
