Just visited Toyota and they want $320 each for new oxygen sensors for my 1UZ.
I'm attempting to find the cause for my poor fuel economy and have read that the oxygen sensors are the best place to start.

Can anyone shed some light on where to get decent aftermarket sensors from and part numbers if possible?

Have heard Bosch are good, but don't know where to get them.

Any ideas/previous experiences welcome.

Cheers

Priceless info cheers mate.
Lists a 'universal' 4-wire sensor for our 1UZ's.
The ones on all my engines are only single wire though.

Doesn't seem right to me.

Some of the 1UZ's were four wire according to some wiring diagrams I have seen.

All I have seen are single wire as well.

(I used one of the universal flanged single wire ones on my other car (not a 1uz) seems to work)

Also, make sure your EFI coolant sensor is working, (code 22) the green sensor on the water bridge behind the coil. If it's disconnected/broken overfuelling will result, kinda like having the choke on all the time.

Sudsy, got a part number by chance?
Or a brand at least?

Cheers for the info, replaced the coolant sensor around 4 months back when I originally did the swap.
