Hi guys,
i'm progressing slowly with my manual conversion into my LS, but i've hit a bit of a hitch when it comes to setting up the speedo.
The stock speedo never worked properly and was going to cost me far too much to diagnose and repair, so i've decided to go with a separate unit and mount it somewhere on the dash. Not being my area of expertise i'm struggling to sort out what sort of unit i need.
Although the gearbox is out of a 2004 XR6 Falcon, i'm fairly sure it's cable driven. From anyone who's done a manual conversion or similar in anything, how should i go about driving / calibrating a new speedo? Just kind of need to be pointed in the right direction...
