soarer V8 auto into celsior? does it fit?

just done some reaserch and it seems the soarer has a different gearbox by 1 digit in its code which seems to me that they are almost identical outside if not totally identical. i am aware that teh 1st gear is also slightly shorter than the celsior gearbox which is why i want 1
basically will a soarer gearbox bolt into a celsior without a mechanical or electronic mismatch?

Soarer v8 has a341e
Celsoir has a341e
Soarer 6 has a340e
a340e electronics are different to a341e
the transmission will bolt up to the bell housing
you MAY be able to swap the lower gears between boxes and retain the electronics

so the ratio's of the soarer V8 are the same as the celsior?

No the ratio is different. The physical demension is the same and it will fit.

the a340e has a lower ratio than the a341e

I am using a 94 Soarer wiring harness, and it plugs straight into my 90 Crown autobox.

I had to swap the 2 rear speed sensors over, as they were different, but the solanoids, and selector position plugs were identical.

I have seen some 1uz auto boxes that had completely different plugs, so there is a chance they are different.
