Question on ECUs

Hi all,

new to this lark, and in the stage of doing some research before I start building anything. Currently looking into ECUs - my local rolling road has never heard of adaptronic but does use OMEX; so if I were to use an omex ecu on a 1uz-fe, which one would I need? Is it the 700 (supports 8 sequential injectors), or would the 600 do (supports 8 injectors but only in batch fire).

I'm guessing that the 700 is the one to go for, is that right?

I know that there are others but I could do without spending nearly £1500 on an ecu!

Batch fire is how the standard ECU does it.

Whilst quite good it won't give the ultimate in fuel economy nor power but there isn't much in it.

The economy and increased power probably aren't worth the extra expenditure.

Hi Flash,

where are you based. If anywhere in the Midlands Thor Racing at Warwick will be able to sort your ECU requirements without any problems.
