Hello Gang,
Anyone know if Dellow or The ROD shop make a bellhousing for the Porsche G50 Transaxial mate with the 1UZFE?

Possible dunbuggy project.

Thanks

out of interest for my own project I emaild kennedy and asked around for adaptorkits for the two G50 case variants.

kits include flywheel/adaptorplate/spigot bearing

1989-on G50 porsche 911 Turbo adaptor kit sells at $772 us.
the earlier 930 boxes adaptor kits go at $580

both flywheels take stock porsche parts which are more expensive than various uprated aftermarket stuff. clutch kit for the G50 single plate system sells for about $1000 overe here in holland

seems steep, but wait till you get a price quote on the actual box hahaha.

if they are that expensive, maybe you can get a europe rebuild one from the UK for a far better price. LSpower ansd Ultima both carry these in their program,

I next door the germany so easier (still not deadeasy) over here.

I had what I thought was a decent deal going on a G50/52 from Holland awhile back, but by the time I got the thing export crated & shipped to the US, paid duty on it, etc. it was going to cost me $6K, so I bought a known good G50/52 core from the rebuilder for $6.5K.

BTW, I've got a "spare" G50/03 transaxle if anyone is interested. I own it for around $4K and am open to reasonable offers. It's from a '91-'93 car, and has the factory LSD. I've not cracked it open, so have no idea what shape it's in.

On the advise of several transaxle experts, they felt the torque of a 6.0 liter V12 was going to require a "built" G50/50 or a G50/52, so I went that way instead.

This G50/03 would make a nice box for someone with a 1UZ powered car, particularly if they were staying NA with it. It would probably even handle a turbo 1UZ if the car wasn't too heavy, nor had huge sticky tires, and the clutch wasn't dumped at every launch.

Nah thanks 1k$ extra gets me a completly new G50-50.

you can't buy from them unless you buy the whole car, so that not of use to anyone else.

will be going with a second hand one from germany to keep cost more or less in balance with the rest of the car though, and then if it breakes, so be it, I will still save the price on a core exchange, and at least then I've tried. 400hp will be doable on a stock one so I think if its in good shape it will survive.
