Happy to be back on Lextreme.

Had a conversation recently that got me thinking. Certain OEM parts for the 1UZ/2UZ/3UZ family are quietly going NLA or jumping in price, and I don't think we've been tracking it as a community.

What are you having trouble sourcing right now? What did you pay 5 years ago vs today? Anything you've stockpiled because you saw the writing on the wall?

I'll keep a running list in the OP as people chime in. Could turn into a useful reference for anyone planning a build or rebuild.

Things I'm specifically curious about: distributors and caps for pre-VVTi, knock sensor harnesses, the small interior trim bits for SC400/LS400, OEM injectors, and the various coolant crossovers.

There's been a bit of chatter lately about parts availability and I figured it's worth having one thread where we actually build the list. These motors are 25 to 35 years old now and the supply situation is only going in one direction.

I'll start with what I've run into personally or seen come up repeatedly here.

Getting difficult -- long lead times, high prices, or limited stock:

OEM throttle position sensor for pre-VVTi motors. Aftermarket exists but quality varies a lot.
Distributor caps and rotors for the early non-COP motors. Quality repro parts are thin.
EFI main relay. Available but not cheap anymore.
Power steering pump rebuild kits. Most vendors are now selling remanufactured cores rather than rebuild parts.
OEM-spec timing belt tensioner springs.

Effectively gone -- OEM no longer available, find it used or go aftermarket:

Factory wiring harness connectors for the early VSV solenoids.
OEM fuel injector O-ring kits from Denso.
Early TRAC/ABS module internals.

What are you all running into? The more specific the better, and part numbers where you have them. Worth keeping this updated as a community reference.
