I have a 91 1uz soarer , standard ecu in a 4x4 comp truck, problem is over fueling at idle, motor runs rough up to 800/900 rev's then clears and runs good right to limiter.
The hard part to track down is I can turn the engine off and start again straight away, sometimes but not everytime it will run sweet,idle and everything.I have changed EFI temp sender, no change.No cold start injecter fitted so not that.
It is not consistant , because it can run perfect sometimes I assume the wiring is good, almost like something is tripping out like a sensor.
I checked my airflow meter by swapping with a mates crown airflow and no change, only difference I have is ecu is outputing 5 volts on the VC, KS, THA terminals , his only has 5 volts on the VC output , normal or not ?
Trying to eliminate the obvious.
Apart from idle the motor runs hard and strong, and idles when it wants to.
