Anyone heard of this problem before? I checked my sparks today. only the drivers side sparks were totally black. The other side looked great. Seems the engine is running to rich on only one side or the ignition is bad adjusted on one side or some idiot put the timing belt in and missed one or two tooth.

Anyone any suggestions?

Can be too many things. Maybe o2 sensors on one side?

Please help me out. I've a lot of trouble to solve with this car.

Thanx!

When you say "black" do you mean running rich?

As the spark to each is fed from both distributors equally it doesn't sound ignition related.

Sounds like something is restricting the air flow to one bank.

How can the air flow to one bank be restricted? It could be but I dont understand how. It is true the inlet looks awfully black also but this is for the right and left bank right? By the way. Anyone know how the inlet can get dirty and black from the inside?? You think maybe the exhaust is closed somewhere? Or the inlet valves dont open fully? I think in that case you should hear a lot of crappy noise right?
Any other idears?

Thanx!
