Nitrous and alcohol

This Might sound really dumb but I figured I'd ask anyway. Back when I was buildind "K"cars in high school we would use cold start injectors and alcohol to stop pinging when the boost was a little too high. Could this same theory be used with Nitrous and a wet system. The car runs on standard gasoline all day long. When the Nitrous is armed It would still be running on gasoline but alcohol added with the nitrous instead of more gasoline.

i dont know. sounds like a good idea, but i dont know enough about nitrous to give you a good answer. i think you would be better off with a full blown water injection system than a cold start with alcohol.

Note the "injectors" that was back when money was realy tight we would run 2-3 cold start injectors before the throttle body in the charge pipe it worked okay but far from perfect. With the nitrous I would use the fuel side of a wet system for alcohol not just cold start injectors.
