New member , few questions .
Hi all , finally have bought myself a Celsior so now feel I can sign up !!
Actually got to pop rivet the ADR plate on myself this afternoon so I'm pretty hyped up !!
Have a few novice questions though , the car has 18 x 8 mags on it with 215/40/18 tyres that look silly as they are about 30 mm or more too small .
I want to run the same size tyres all around so that I can do front/rear swops so that I get decent milage and even wear , my question is how large can I go on the front without rubbing ?
I would be happy with 235/40/18's but would prefer to fit 245/40/18 but will they clear on the front .
Also have read up on most things and wonder bout the power steering failure , what actually fails ?
Also I understand that in itself it's not a huge drama aside from the fact that it leaks on and blows a very expensive alternator that lives underneath it and that this is actually more of a concern .
I intend taking off the P/s unit and fabricating up a 1 mm sheild type device to fit underneath the P/S unit and over top of the altenator as a P/S leak deverting device .
Has anybody else done this ?
And if not would anybody else want one while I'm at it or have I got it all wrong ?
Regards...Rich
