My blocks are ready to progress to the next step..... The Triad will be installing the 5.2L this Saturday and 4.7L in the very near future.

5.2L going to my 1995 LS400
4.7L going to my 1995 SC400 (VVTi heads)

Here they are with studs....

FYI: Left 5.2L and right 4.7L
 
5.2 in alloy? i didn't realise you had solved this one Lex? link to build details?

Either planned as FI?

BTW saw a VIPed LS400 locally the other days with "Lex" plates....thought you must have come to pay me a visit ;)
 
Someday I would love to pay a visit to Down Under. I need to talk to my wife about celebrating our anniversary with you guys...lol...

4.7L will mate for 1999 SC400 VVTi engine and manage by AEM with 95 SC400 harness. Twin turbo of course...

5.2L will be NA for now but would like to run a M112 and boost about 10 psi.

anyways, what did you do differently with the sleeving this time? any suggestions or actual tech info you care to share about the block structure and shoulder/locating for sleeving? im tempted to try but not when i can get 95mm out of the 2uz block easily enough and run 4.6L to 9500rpm
 
We are out of the stroker rods. I ordered 4 custom sets. One set lost in the mail. Keeping one set and two sold.

Taking the godfather name??!? What is this madness... Eventually I was planning on custom license plates, "GODFATHR" lol. Thinking 5.2 stroker w/ M112 vs 4.7 procharged? Thats gotta be a fun race, once we both work the bugs out of our LS400's and get them tuned right we should find a nice secluded quarter mile stretch :fing02:

I don't think that stroker 5.2 will stay NA for long. It'll be NA-S instead.
 
I added... "with M112" as we both know Lex's engine in N/A fashion is most likely just to break it in. I think it would be fun to watch, 5.2 with low end boost vs 4.7 "hybrid" with top end boost and both tuned with adaptronic.... in the same car? hehe
 
very nice, really want to see some numbers on these.
