MAP-ECU V2 - timing control

I didn't get any responses in the fuel/ingnition area, so now I post here.

The MAP-ECU V2 has the ability to control timing. Question is will this work on the 1UZ?

I have a V2 right now for my GS300 turbo project, but I am thinking about giving it a try on my SC400 for kicks just to see if I can mess with the timing and fuel a little.
