M90 w/ Intercooler VS Water Injection?

Hello all, just doing research. As I slowly part out the boosted camry, I think about my future plans.

Car boosted with a M90 pushing lets say 9-10lbs with 300+ whp with supporting mods of course (ie. headers, exhaust, BFI, good form of piggyback, injectors, torque converter, etc, and all maintence items)

a W2A intercooler would be harder/more expensive to fabricate. but what about water injection? Probably hundreds cheaper.

A proper WI setup with water/alcohol 50/50 spraying in at... lets say 5 psi. Do you guys think that would be a great alternative compared to a pricey W2A setup. Not to push more, but to add reliability. But this would be paired with a Wideband and EGT gauges.

i would use water injection over an intercooler. there is an article in Super Street about water injection. they used it on a non-intercooled and supercharged NSX, with good results toward lowering the intake temps. it didnt do much toward HP, but more boost can do that.

What the hell you're on here too LoL! You'll never be able to intercoole a TRD roots supercharger on the v6's. There isn't hood clearance to make a sandwhich cooler. Which means you'd have to make a custom A2W lower intake manifold cooler. I just don't see anyone ever accomplishing that b/c as you know RP. There is just no market for such a device!
Water injection FTW on the Camry!
Now with the M90, it's a different ballpark. It's going to be ALOT less charge temp for the same horsepower the joke TRD unit makes. So you making the 360bhp you're talking about wouldn't be as much as an issue. It still won't happen on a stock 1mz-fe for any duration.
I will just always be firm in the belief (until otherwise proben wrong) The ringlands are too high, the piston indention makes them weak. The rings are too high, and the compression is too high. 1mz-fe's just do not tolerate any type of condition where alot of power, or pre-detonation. (Without new pistons)
You're also adding in the cost of good management. Unlike going other routes where you could get away with an advanced piggyback. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't put fate of an engine running extra injectors with trusting the supercharger can evenly distribute atomized fuel to the cylinders. :\

Or have you/are you buying a v8 lexus? LoL! Cause we got an Australian with pre-made M90 intake manifolds on here. Group buy ended afewmonths ago if I remember correctly.

Alrighty.
Well the same thing applys for the most part. It's going to be hard to intercool the charge on a manifold mounted blower. Now if it's a remotely mounted blower, it's no different than a turbo. Put a bottom with a flange on the S/C. Connect it to your charge piping going to the throttlebody.

or use a thunderbird m90 an plumb an fmic , they are setup allready to do this but the m90 sits upside down an the pulley ends up on the other side to the water outlet, someone on this board has done it like this on a ford courier using a richwood (or sim) manifold
