Well, that T5 assembly for the 1UZ i bought off ebay a while back is finally in, and she works! It's been off the road for about 9 months during the conversion, and i have encountered numerous problems and expenses along the way, but since i took her for a spin round the block thismorning... Let me tell you, i have fallen in love all over again. Thought I'd share my limited quantity of photos from throughout the experience, and I'd be more than happy to share some experience with anyone who wants to undertake this...
It's a huge job and the whole time, my one thought was "I wish I'd left the auto in". This is also not a professional job, as I am NOT a professional, but it works, should be safe and came from my own mind and hands, so I'm happy with it. It's the first major modification I've ever really done and it becomes apparent very quickly that you should throw your budgets for time and money out the window. Anywho, here's some photos, if anyone has any specific questions, just ask
