that car looks awesome.. i wish there were some close up pics of the car and especialy the engine.. im gonna look around there site for a while..
i gotta hand to those guys...they have my respect.. not afraid to take a different road-break new ground..i wish them all the best, and alot of success..

Well I know 1000+ V8 2UZ horsepower has been heard on this side of the world. Blast racing used it in their Soarer they campaigned and then there was the Celica (forgot who ran it).
These cars are no longer in the spot light due to the fact that there is no V8 class for the import scene anymore.

bobadrift--your right, the turbonetics celica- raced by the scranton bros- ran the lex v8--well over 1000 hp.. and the blast lexus/soarer also had serious power, but i didnt know blast had a chance to run it competitavly.. does anyone have any vids or sound of these cars in action? i think il start a thread to see if anyone can get vid of those cars in action..
but we need a current street/race car with 1000+hp.. i dont suppose the scranton bros would be willing to swap there old v8 motor into a street car?

Quadcam boat-- it would be great if you could get one of the guys from PIRANHA RACING to get some pics and details of the setup--or anything.. i know a racing team can be very busy--but any info would be appreciated..any obstacles that they encountered getting to were they are at could save us alot of grief.. thanks again..

I went to Newby Engineering today to get my supercharger cleaned up and they were responsible for setting up the supercharger and the rods of the Piranah car. This company run a top alcohol dragster and they showed me thier own rods they build for their engine. They were massive!
They are happy to build rods for the lexus. They will build anything. I will take my camera out there next week once they have stripped down my blower.

It's pretty amazing seeing a big engineering company dedicated to go fast bits. These guys are serious. Best bit is I'm friend with their cheif CNC guy. Once my engine is stripped I'll send him a rod for him to quote me.
