lextreme rods. Pistons?

I have a 96 1uz with the skinnier rods and was wondering if you can just bolt on the ealier model rods without balancing and not have any vibration worries?
Also thinking about the lextreme rods and wondering how much boost/abuse do the standard pistons handle?
also if i was to get the rods would i HAVE to get the crank/rods balanced?

engine parts so far:
cometic mls head gaskets
Arp head studs
Lextreme valve springs
Acl race bearings
Custom pro seal rings

How much boost could this set up handle every day safely?

I think low 400 rwhp would be the limit on stock rods...

This is a great article. I suggest the earlier rods as they are so cheap.
