Hi all
is there any other type 2 discos converted with the 1uzfe engine i am nearing completion of my own and would like to talk to anyone else who my have converted a disco 2

I am just starting a conversion for a comp safari vehicle, would be interested in your install if you have a website?
Ive chosen to use the VVti with the A650E autobox.
What gear/transfer box have you used?

I'm planning to put one into a defender 90/RRC hybrid challenge truck,
Hurricanev8...what transferbox are you looking to run? im currently looking to get an adaptor made to mate the a650e to a LT230 transfer box, is that something you might be interested in too?

If I was swapping any UZ into a Rover I'd want the LT230 transfer.

Probably the toughest thing on the market.

My UZ is hooked up to a Nissan 5speed and transfer. Works OK but only part time 4x4.

aniesigh, I will be running upside down Disco 2 axles and have looked at using a rakeway engineering remote transfer (modified LT230 without centre diff). I was thinking of running a short output shaft from A650e to the LT230 and then props to axles. My Tornado will be rear engined hence the USD axles. May be interested in adaptor plate to mount direct.
