sorry guys,can anyone advise me in dislodging the cat converter on my 1uz..especially the third bolt(the one thats out-of-view).thanks in advance..cheerios

Exhaust bolts can be very tough to remove.

I would soak the threaded and contact areas with penetrating oil overnight. Re-install the other 2 bolts and get at the top one first. With the other 2 removed the top gets held even tighter by a wedging effect. With the other 2 in place your chances are better.

WD-40 and a small hammer does wonders!

thanks to all u kind gentleman...manage to dislodge the cat converter. lots of wd-40 and after removing the support that hold down the 2 exhaust to the tranny,removal was much easier.
