I would like to do a cheap single turbo mod on my Landcruiser,I am looking for torque more than horsepower .I have a ton of room in front of the engine(1uzfe),so I presume that is best spot for it.I have heaps of ground clearence so i can leave headers as they are and run the pipes back up front to the turbo(what size pipe should this be).I dont want to spend thousands on a turbo,could I buy one from the wreckers from a production car or something like that.Also I would like to fabricate it all and just drive it without worrying about detonating,or any ecu mods etc.All information will be appreciated.What about a GT 37 or GT40,right or wrong track?
