Hello from NZ

Thought I should introduce myself, I've been reading this and other forums for a while, finally got round to joining properly.

I live in New Zealand, Have a job somewhere between mechanic and engineer- building 4wd's of different type's, I picked up a nice tidy 130 series 4runner a year ago with V6, 5 speed box, mint body/interiour and blown head gasket, looked at repairing engine but it's been left sitting for longer than I was told it had been by the look of it and is not in a good state at all!! So I'm looking at dropping a 1uz into it!

(I also have a older diesel surf for parts.)

Main use for the truck will be to tow my holden V6 powered suzuki to and from competitions round NZ but also used for light 4wd duty's taking the family on club trips!

I'm also the proud owner of a toyota 2.0 diesel powered (rather modified) lada niva, but don't hold that against me! lol... (toyota's run in the blood!)

Nice to meet you all and I'll start a build thread when I finish gathering parts for the build up!!

Hello from another fellow kiwi who has just joined too

Just brought myself an LN61 with the 1UZ conversion already done. Saved me the hassle and hopefully some of the expense

I'm on a tight budget so have to do everything for the conversion myself! (unfortunatly)

First thing to do is find a house with shed to rent as don't have one where we currently live and can't take up to much shop space at work.
