I have been reading about high performance head gaskets for few years now. Initially I used SCE Copper HG and didnt like the retorque process so I switched to Cometic MLS headgaskets. Now looking back to the SCE website and they came out with few new lines of gaskets. The new ISC (Integral Combustion Seal) might be the key to our high boost application.

Here is an interesting article about MLS vs. ISC I also remembered that SCE tested these headgasket at couple thousand HP.

I got few reports from those hardcore Lextremers in Thailand stating that Cometic MLS is only holding about 1.5 to 2.0 bar. So they are looking something stronger. Perhaps it is the heads or studs torque. Not sure which but the ICS looks promosing.
