Gearbox Mount?

Hi,

I have noticed an increasingly large jolt when shifting my 1990 Celsior from park to drive, is this likely to be a gearbox mount? I have also noticed that when the choke is on and I am stationary in drive with the brake applied there is a slight rattle or noise, if I shift into nuetral the noise disappears.
Has anyone changed a gearbox mount? Is it a big job?

Two piece mount.

I just replace a gearbox mount on a celcior and when i droped the cross member bolts out it fell on the floor it was completly sheared off. so i would buy a new mount and fit it its about a 30 min job easy .

Thanks for the advice venom, you dont happen to know how many mounts there are? Im thinking I may as well change them all at once.

Hi again there is 1 gear box mount and 2 engine mounts but would not change them unless they are broken alot more work.
There is also a centre bearing mount on the drive shaft which you check out if the gearbox mount does not help with the vibration problems. you will have to drop off the exhaust system and the heat shield that covers it.
